A little more than 100 people braved the rain and flooding to attend the first Santa Cruz Works New Tech of 2023. Eight companies presented their truly inspirational journeys, their visions for the year, and open job positions. We will post videos for each company next week. Meanwhile, enjoy a few happy faces from the night. Our board member Drew Meyer could not attend but sent 2 photos from Antarctica where he and his family of explorers are on vacation.

Joby Aviation: Joby is developing an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) that has partnerships with NASA, Toyota, U.S. Air Force, Intel, Uber, and has achieved the Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, which allows Joby to operate a commercial air taxi service.
Parallel Flight Technologies: Parallel Flight provides heavy lift and long-range beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) applications across multiple industrial logistics.
Paystand: Paystand uses blockchain and cloud technology to create a more open financial system, starting with B2B payments.
Zero Motorcycles: Zero produces high-performance electric motorcycles that are lightweight, efficient, fast off the line and fun to ride.
